We love Town Creek Campground!! It is located in West Point, Ms. off Hwy. 50 E. It is located on the banks of the Tombigbee River and has much to offer in beauty, convenience to town, level pads, primitive camping, swimming, hiking trails and fishing galore.

The hosts are very welcoming and you will feel like you have known them for years when you meet them. They are very easy going and love people. They will be glad to let you tour the campground, get a feel for the campsites and can answer any question you may have.

A number of places we visit, especially during the spring and summer months, have bugs, and they come in droves. Relaxing outside becomes a battle with mosquitoes and flies. RV screen rooms keep the pests out.

Depending on what you consider “pests,” RV screen rooms may not keep all the pests out. I am only kidding. Cherry Hill Campground in the Sumter National Forest in South Carolina is of note for various reasons.
