Golly its been ages hasn't it? I know. You might not even be reading, I might just be writing to myself! Ha. That's okay. Its kinda like therapy and a pensive all rolled in to one. Helps me save things within my life.
I feel like a cloud has been lifted. I don't know what took place or the magic that busted out of me as of late. It could possibly be the changes, or just that I am ready. I mean really ready. I never really felt like scrapbooking. Something was lost. I fought it hard and tried and nothing would come. So I kinda shut the door. Backed off. Closed all kinds of doors. And then just sat there with a desk full of supplies. I made excuses, the desk is too small. There's not enough space. I had no photos. etc. I came up with a million things and frankly, I just didn't feel like it. That's really what it was in the end, I didn't feel like it. There was so much going on within my life and it didn't seem fitting. But....
I came back to Scrapbook Circle. I joined their kits. I missed them a lot and I think getting them in the mail will jump start my love for a hobby I have missed greatly. The February kit called my name. I opened it up and felt the same love I always had that had been lost. Then I went all crazy like and actually busted out my camera. That's right! I set up my tripod and took photos. Whew! Ima just bustin it all out aren't I? I thought I'd show ya 3 of them that I took. I am gonna scrap them very soon! Super Duper excited!
Mitchell (that's him!!) came up this past weekend and we took advantage of the good weather. I busted out my camera and decided to take some shots of us. It was so much fun and I honestly can't wait to scrap them all!!! And of course I cannot wait to take more photos in general!
Drinking: Lots of Earl Grey. Water.
Eating: Some toast with homemade pear jam.
Enjoying: Knowing I only have 59 days of work left and I can quit.
Thinking: I have been blessed with a wonderful man of God.
Wanting: To not have to work today.
Needing: Start cooking more.
Listening: Britt Nicole's new album. It is fantastic!!
Learning: How to love unconditionally.
Praying: God has the perfect home for us.
Feeling: Cherished. Loved. Honored. and blessed.
Grateful for:
1. God and him moving within me.
2. Spending time with Alyssa. Our relationship means the world to me.
3. Friends who are there and have walked the storm with you and look back with you and see God's hands all over it.
4. New scrapbooking supplies that I am in love with.
5. Being able to get tattoos that mean a great deal to me, each one has a story.
6. Seeing God's hands upon our up and coming move.
7. Having a wise daughter.
8. The relationship I have with Mitch. It is unlike anything I've ever experienced. I have been waiting for him for my entire life. Who knew we'd both have to go through so much individually to get where we are today collectively. I am grateful that God took us through all of it so that we are able to be where we are today, together.
9. Photographs.
10. Cell phones. I truly cannot and do not want to imagine life without them.
If your still with me reading, you can pretty much know we are moving soon, which means you can guess I am getting married soon! LOL. I know right. Those that know me well, know that God moves mightily and quickly in my life. I think he knows me well! LOL. Anyway... We are getting married in June and moving to Seattle in June too. If you are the praying kinda peep, please pray God's will for us as we begin to look for a home as well. Big changes! It's kinda a long story, which I will share at a later time. You might be shaking your head. I would be too except, I know God. He is in control of this entire relationship. I feel so blessed to say the least. I've not thought me much a city girl, but I think I am ready for that. Ready for Seattle and all that it has to offer. Besides that, I am not only marrying a wonderful man, I am becoming part of a wonderful family who loves me!
Life is about to change yet again, and my response? Bring it!
Be on the lookout for some scrappy stuff very soon! Yippee!
