Don't ya just love it when you create something that brings a smile to your face? I know I do!!
On Saturday we did something we haven't done in a really long time. We spent the entire day each of us on our computers! Well this allowed me to scrap as well as be on my computer and Treasured Scrapbooking was having a really fun resolutions crop. Remember I told you about that in another thread!
Here are my projects that I created doing some of the challenges for that!
I had a blast just sitting here all day scrapping the day away in my pj's!
So this first layout! I am really in love with it! The challenge was to use cardstock as our background, use 10 or more circles, and 5 buttons. I LOVED this challenge! I took these photos playing around with my camera and my photography lesson of my new Converse! Although the came out a little blue in the tint of the photos, I really liked how they turned out! I knew I wanted to create a layout about them and how much I really loved my new shoes!
This next one is for one of the girls birthday's in my bible study! I had such a great time creating this card! The challenge for this one was to use something by recycling. I used the backing of my Prima packing for my word "joy" and went from there with the colors! I really like this card and enjoyed created it for someone special in mind, I sure hope she likes it!
Simplicity is always difficult for me, but that is exactly what this challenge was all about. We were to create a layout that was clutter free! So I really went for the minimalistic look with this one and tried to keep it simple with pops of color! It was a lot of fun being so clean lined on my layout!
This next challenge was a challenge about reading more so we were to make a bookmark for this challenge! Since Alyssa reads an awful lot I decided to make this bookmark for her. The little owl moves back and forth so this is what can stick out of the book!
That was my Saturday! So fun!!!
So what is tickling your fancy lately? What creations have you created that make you smile!

Had a blast making three necklaces for Craft Warehouse today! Can't wait to post those pictures! What am I talking about... can't wait to make one for ME! Love the projects... beautiful as always!
Your nature layout is beautiful...I love all that white space.
And the card...wow...to receive one like that must have been awesome for your friend. A forever keepsake.
ok... so, did I read that you made all of these on Sat? Girl, you need to teach me how to scrap that efficiently! Sometimes I can scrap a favorite layout in 30-40 minutes (mostly when I am with Jen – something about scrapping in her dark attic brings out the artist in me) but most of the time I take 2 plus hours on a layout. Like last night. I hemmed and hawed and then left the layout unfinished on my desk to tackle another day.
What a wonderful Sat. I love days where we can stay in jammies all do and do fun things! It was nice to chat with you and I am looking forward to our live visit on the 9th. Love the layouts!! Especially the tennis shoe one very cute!!
lovely projects as always!
just a comment about converse - that's ALL MY HUSBAND WEARS. He loves "chucks" as we call them. I could do an entire layout about all his pairs of chucks. I should. I will.
I love the "Never Too Old" layout, and I tried to buy those shoes today at Target! They didn't have my size! =(
sigh....so beautiful!!! <3
Great challenges and I like your projects! Can't believe that the JOY word was from the Prima packaging... how cool! It's always great to have a fun scrappy day like that!
