Randomness.

Today we're getting back into the swing of things as many are!
Alyssa goes back to school so that means homework, carting her around
and also trying to fit everything into the day!
I have to admit, the holidays which are stressful for some, are always
very relaxing for us, which is a good thing I think!

I start back bible study today. I am looking forward to seeing everyone
and getting back into the grove of that!

D is trying to go to days. Switching at work is often hard and he doesn't really
like days, but it will work better with our schedule and his. He is starting school!
I am SO proud of him for going back to school!!! Way to go baby!

I applied for another job! I did and I feel pretty good about it. But I know that
whatever happens it will be God's will in it! It's with the same company that I work
for now. That company is called AAFES {Army and Air Force Exchange} is who
I really work for because they bought the rights to have Starbucks on base. We are
a licensed store, Starbucks that is. Well in AAFES, we have job openings all the time.
And I don't know if I have shared this or not, but my first love is doing office/secretarial
work. I've done that job off and on my entire life and I love it. I am good at it. In fact,
when most little kids were playing teacher, I was playing office. That's right.. I had
the entire desk set up with a phone, calendar, stapler, etc.. and that is what I always
played! LOL. Anyway.. An office job has come open in the back office of the BX {base
exchange, which is like a department store} on base and I applied for it. I would
be working directly with the general manager and in an office of about 6 other women.
I have already heard that I don't want the job because the office with the 6 women
isn't a very good place to work. But I have faith that I can do a good job and that's that!
So the job closed today and I am hoping to hear something soon, and hopefully get an
interview as well. It's like a perfect fit. But I have to trust that it will open if it is
supposed to and close if it isn't supposed too. But this is something I've been looking
forward to for awhile now. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my job at Starbucks a lot.
But this kind of thing is totally me and right up my alley! So please pray for me!

I rearranged a couple of things in our den again! I really like how its looking.
I got a new lamp, bought a couple of letter "c's {thought it would be nicer to use
our last name letter rather than my initial since this is our den}, changed around
some of the pictures too. I am so thankful of this space!!!

Did you know that the most hits I ever get on my blog are from my Jen Ledger
blog post? I think I get about 75-80 hits a day on this blog and most of them are
for that one blog post! Who would of thought!!!

These are the first set of layouts I did using the January Treasured Scrapbooking kit!


It was a lot of fun creating with this kit! Be on the look out on the 15th for the
next reveal!!!

So far so good with no eating sweets. We decided as a family to take on this
challenge since we ate so much of it during the holidays. We all thought this
was a great idea because each of us were tired of eating junk! And my
working out is going great too! Jillian is still kicking my tail!

I am SO excited! Today is the day I am giving this to Heidi!

I sure hope she likes it! It's using the new Letterbox Line from American Crafts and that
stuff is totally cute!!!
