Mish-Mosh

Not too sure about the job. Seems that they posted it, however there is a person
working in that job temporarily and they are supposed to just get the job.
I am not really sure why places do this, why couldn't they just hire the girl
rather than put it out there? To make matters worse? The person I spoke with on the phone to ensure that they received my application told me she doubted that I'd get the job... Umm. Yeah that might be true, but how unprofessional of them!
I am in prayer still though because God is bigger
and if this was meant to be, then it will happen! I would love to have the job,
but I am content where I am as well. In fact, I did a HUGE overhaul of organization
in the store to make things easier on us all! I hope everyone else likes it! LOL.

Just two random layouts that I've just created!

My grateful this week:
1. Cinnamon candies because when you're not eating sweets they make life sweeter!
2. Dayv for all of the things that he does for me and makes me feel so loved by doing them!
3. Jillian Michael's because even though I could kick her, I am grateful that I have this video to workout with so I don't have to go to the gym.
4. Our rearranged bedroom. Now that we've done that I've fallen in love with it again and that saved us a lot of money!
5. Alyssa's sweet music when she plays her clarinet.
6. Perkins. Because D&I love going there a lot!
7. Dreams and lists of upgrades we want to do in our home! It's exciting to dream!
8. The fact that not only did I talk about Jesus with someone at work, I debated Him with another co-worker! I am so thankful I can speak about my faith freely.
9. Family time! Because I never know what it is going to consist of, but yet we just fly with it and have the time of our lives!
10. Heat. Because our home is warm when it is so freezing outside!
11. The fact that we don't yell in our home. I grew up in a home that had yelling all of the time. It wasn't a pretty place or picture and I am so very thankful that it doesn't happen now.
12. Although I love my extended family a lot, I am thankful that I am away from the drama and issues. I truly believe that is why the Lord sent me away to college in 1991 and I've never gone back home to live..
13. Razors. Enough said.
14. Our dining room table. Because a lot of fun happens there and we hear about each others days.
15. Dayv going back to school! I am SO proud of him.

I really want both of these rings. Now mind you, I have two very beautiful rings
but D didn't buy them for me {one is from my family and dates back a 100 years, its gorgeous and the other one we picked out together when we were flat broke, but I bought it! LOL}. I still have the pawn shop ring because I didn't want another one, its just fine. I mean we didn't have any money and we weren't marrying for the reasons everyone else does, so we bought bands.
D&I are planning on renewing our vows. Like as in a wedding.
However, it's going to be extremely small. I mean small. We are renting a dress and a tux. We are taking really great photos too. But that's pretty much it. However, as small as that seems renewing our vows is almost like we're going to actually say them for the first time. Because well you know the story... We are planning on doing this next year.
We'll have it in our church, with a few small peeps and that is it. I'm not picking out flowers, colors, or buying invitations.
See the thing D&I truly care about is actually having a wedding where it means something.
I care about the photos, but he'll play along. And it would be cool to wear a wedding dress and have my hair done. And it would be cool to see D in a tux, since that's never happened and I've never seen him in one.
And this is where the rings come in.
Since I really want to make the change to silver/white gold I figured it would be a great time to do that! Wedding+new rings, sure why not!
So these are the rings I want. I would wear the diamond band on my right hand. I LOVE the diamond ring like a lot!
Aren't they both gorgeous!!!
I am in love with them both and envision the diamond being slipped on my finger the day I get married!!!!

Some peeps have said we should wait until our 20th, but my philosophy on that is, why not sooner! So there you have it.. That's what I dream about a lot. The rings and seeing D lookin' hot in a tux! I can't wait

Good luck with the job. I can't believe someone told you you probably wouldn't get it, over the phone...to quote Michelle Tanner from Full House, "How rude!"

Those layouts are lovely! I love the the calendar background.

Beautiful rings! I think it's really great that you're going to have a wedding - I wish we could re-do our photos sometimes :)
