always. sometimes. never.

I always:

* beat myself up, hard.
* take my bra off first thing when I get home.
* will love tee-shirts and jeans.
* cut people off when they are talking.
* will be a boat jumper.
* will be anal. I've accepted it.
* drink a lot of water.
* am used by God to tell others a message.

I sometimes:

* wished that I could actually and physically see Jesus.
* wonder why I keep fighting my true desire of being a housewife and SAHM?
* would like to live in a remote area by a lake.
* don't listen well.
* think about going back with what I know now.
* smell a very strong smell of my aunt's perfume. So strong I sometimes think she has to be in the room with me.
* wonder how long I will live.
* think I am a horrible mom.
* think about having loads of money, flying in a private jet to wherever Sallie Mae is and paying my student loan off in cash.. All the while sticking my tongue out and telling them I didn't learn a thing in school.

I never:

* thought my mom wouldn't be here.
* will compromise who I am, ever.
* have dirty sneakers.
* want be be a false disciple for God.
* thought I'd want to stay home and have that be my job.
* will go ski diving, scuba diving, bungy jumping, or anything that relates to flying if I don't have too.
* understand why people fear confrontation?

What are your always, sometimes, and never's?

I actually bought some Christmas related scrapping stuff! Believe that. I decided that I'd start now. I only have to make stuff for my family so it's pretty easy. Remember when I made this for A's teacher one year for her birthday?

I am going to make each of my family members this same thing for Christmas! The stuff I got in the mail today was from Bo Bunny. It's their new holiday line and I love it!

Did I mention before that I'm having a scrapbooking party?

I made these cards/invitations for the girls I am having over! They are excited and so am I!! I have started buying their kits and have gotten two thus far! I didn't realize how much work goes into picking out the perfect kit! But it's been a really cool process. And I've never had a scrapbooking party before! No one that is coming is a scrapbooker, so it should be totally cool to see how excited they get! We are having it at my house, with no family {I am sending them away to have a father/daughter date} while we eat, scrap, laugh, and little do they know have a photo shoot! It should be a lot of fun! I am going to have several different sketches to follow because they are a good way to jump start things for sure! Exciting times.

Do you have any suggestions at throwing a scrapbooking party? If so, share them with me! I want this party to be fun!

I love your lists. You are always so honest and I admire your transparency. We all struggle with some things and no one is perfect, so when you share, we all feel more human in our own struggles. Thank you for that :) I see several things we have in common. (The bra thing is one, it made me laugh)
Your scrapbook party sound like a great deal of fun.
Are you doing different kits for different friends? You will have a great time. Wish I were there. :))

You could do fun door prizes.

Debbie I was going to do all of the same kit and over the course of a couple of weeks I realized that they are each at different places, stages, and phases. So I decided to actually ask them. So far 1 wants family, 3 want friends, and 1 wants to do something of her sister that passed, they were really good friends. I am glad that I asked because I would hate to have them scrap something they didn't want too! LOL. I got one kit in the mail and put the rest of it together today. The family one was the easiest because we are the only two with kids and such so it was fun! I can't wait till the other stuff comes in!

Door prizes! What a great idea Juel! I wonder how I can make that fun for them... Got my thinking cap on and will certainly do door prizes!!! Fun, fun! Thanks for the tip and suggestion!

Loved reading your journaling! I am always one who fears confrontation. That's me! I've had a couple scrapbook parties...very fun..I'd say try to have a few small giveaways, like have them put their names into a hat and then draw names to win small things like decorative scissors, small bags of die cuts, or any extra things you have lying around! People LOVE free stuff! =) Have fun!

Hey Elizabeth!!!

as always, your list always makes me chuckle a bit, think "hey! me, too!!!" and then think "don't be too hard on yourself!"

Love reading them, as well!!!

also, thanks again for your comments on my blog! they always leave me with a smile on my face and give me that extra oomph when I need one.

your party sounds like it's going to be so much fun! I don't really have many people who do artsy stuff around me, so it's just me, myself, &I! Hope you take lots of pix!

I cannot wait to see what you do with that box of AC goodies, either!!! I am pretty sure it will all be fabulous!!! I have been loving the LOs you've been creating with Lynn's kit! so awesome!

I want a scrapbook party!!! :o)
You could do some games...guess how mnay eyelets are in a cup kind of thing...

you could do a price is right kind of thing where you have certain scrapbook items and have them match the price...always a fun one...

flower bar might be nice...where you have flowers that they can stack and then brads/buttons/rhinestones that they can put in the middles...

Magic number under the chair for a prize is always fun...or a hidden goodie in their kit that matches up to a prize...

Have a great time...wonder how nice I have to be to get someone to throw me a scrapbook party???

Have a wonderful day!
