Peeps meet clock.
I just got this bad boy while on our vacation.
We were driving to our ranch when we saw an antique shop.
It was closed at the time and what stopped us there
was a huge star {we're thinking of putting one on
our garage front but have since changed our minds}
but the place was closed. So we made a mental note to
stop there on the way back home.
We got there around 10 or so.
The store is HUGE! And there were
of course many, many things I could have taken home with me.
But space didn't permit that seriously. Not in our Jeep.
As we started to walk through the store, I noticed this room.
In it were practically everything I could want and more for our home!
Then I spotted it.
D&A were coming up behind me and he said what are you looking at.
I said, guess what I want to buy.
He hit the head on the nail and said the clock.
Yes this clock!
I walked around the store and teeter with buying it or not
and in the end D said we were going to buy it!
So off the wall it came and into our Jeep and off we went.
It's a clock from a train station.
It's really heavy.
I love it a lot.
In fact, I have quite a bit of clocks in our house.
But it isn't cause I am obsessed with time,
I just love clocks!

I love that clock! I have a thing for clocks as well. Yet another thing we have in common. What a wonderful find and every time you look at it you'll have memories of that wonderful vacation too. Hope all is well in your life and you are feeling good about you progress from your goal setting for August. Bet your glad September starts tomorrow :)

Oh, Elizabeth, I so feel your pain about A. It's natural for you both to be nervous about new things. I have a lot to be nervous for too...since my boy will be put in with the middle graders.

I LOVE THAT CLOCK!! it is killer cool.
I love chandeliers, but I don't have any. lol
I will when I get a house one day...apt living for me at the moment. No room for chandeliers. ANd when I say chandeliers, I mean the vintage kind or some cool funky ones.
Funny, I noticed it said Dodge City, and I just love to watch Gunsmoke re-runs! That was the first thing I thought of!

How cool! I love clocks too! Also a big lover of picture frames. Love old looking ones and worn ones. I recently bought one from Michael's that is new but looks old with rustic embossed tin on it! I wish I had more places to put them!

I too like photo frames. I have a huge collection of silver and gemstone jewelry. Also like collecting snowglobes and churches...and I'd like to start a collection of old country church photographs and a vintage paper weight collection :D
